Why Are You in a Hurry?

When we hurry and rush around, there’s a story that accompanies it: I’m moving fast to get more done, to arrive on time, to not let people down, to be better, and so on.

But in truth the hurrying is a reaction to a feeling, which the Ego then steps in to justify. We rush because, under certain conditions, a feeling arises which we are not facing up to. Not because it is truly imperative that we satisfy the storyline.

What is the feeling that is compelling you to rush? That is where to look.

What would happen if you didn’t rush? What would that mean? And what would be so bad about it?

This may bring up ideas and avenues which completely defy our expectations and ideas of ourselves. This is precisely why we buried them. But they might just be the key to unlocking the full expression of our Self.
